This policy covers personal information collected through this website and through enquiries made by phone or email in connection with it. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, the suburb and general location of the property, details about the kitchen, and any photographs, plans or measurements you send.
When you browse the site, standard technical information may be collected by our hosting and analytics providers, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out an on-site measure, prepare drawings and a quotation, coordinate the trades involved in your project, and communicate with you about the work. We also use contact details to follow up an enquiry that has not been concluded.
Who it is disclosed to
Your information may be shared with the licensed builder and the trades engaged to carry out or quote your project, with suppliers and fabricators where a measurement or delivery requires it, and with service providers who host our website and manage our enquiry and customer records on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for unrelated marketing purposes.
Storage and security
Information is held in business systems operated by third-party providers under their own security arrangements, and some of those providers store data outside Australia. Reasonable steps are taken to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask that it be deleted where there is no legal or contractual reason to retain it. Where you are not satisfied with how a request has been handled, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
